December 2009: Month of Worship

Beloved of the Lord,

Blessings and joy unspeakable with heavenly bliss be multiplied to you all with God’s abundant blessings in Jesus name.

The God who has graciously brought us to the last month of the year of 2009, will see us successfully and prosperously into the new year in Jesus name.

The month of December 2009, heralds and reminds us of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ into this earth to save us from the consequences of the sin of Adam, the first man (Lk 2:1-38). Jesus came in humility, born in a manger in Bethlehem of Judea.

That did not stop the angels of God, from heralding his coming, such that the three wise men, saw His star and went in search of the new born king to worship and honor him.

Its our month of worship, and a call to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords, in spirit and truth, (Jn 4:24) as a lifestyle henceforth, as believers.

Man was made to worship God and right from the first man Adam in Eden, who had regular fellowship with God Almighty, this was a lifestyle until the deceiver, satan stepped in to prevent the right ways of God by causing man to walk in disobedience to God (Gen 3:1-12). Thanks be to God who sent His son to show the way, we can now return by faith in Him to true worship in the spirit of holiness.

As we celebrate, rejoice and make merry during this season of Christmas, let us remember the one who came and gave all for our sake, and worship Him who came, died and rose again that we may live eternally. Halleluyah!

Have a merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

November 2009: Month of Restitution

Beloved in Christ,

Love, peace and joy of the Lord be multiplied to you all in Jesus name.

The God of all grace and comfort has continued to pour His grace and mercy to us all born-again, to a lively faith and hope in Him through the trust we have in the finished work at Calvary of His Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior.

With a repentant heart of love and compassion to Him and one another, we are called to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and the other good things we desire of Him shall be added unto us (Matt 6:33).

It is the way of righteousness of God, for us to make good/restore/restitute any harm, loss, offense we cause one another, in the everyday course of life, here on earth (Lev 6:1-5).

Therefore, in this month of restitution, let us endeavor, by the grace of God to seek out where we have wronged God or man and make good while on this side of eternity.

The story of Zacheus, the rich tax collector and sinner of Jericho, in Luke 19:1-10, is a practical illustration of how our encounter with Jesus Christ should radically cause us to restore/restitute our ways both in the old and new life.

God desires that we have a conscience that is without offense before God and man (Acts 24:16).

Perchance, if those offenses still remain in our hearts through lying, stealing, unforgiveness, deceit or covetousness etc, I pray by confession and restitution, that God will help us make amends, help us settle all accounts with Him and our neighbors, here on earth, before we meet Him in the land of no return or restitution (Heb 9:27-28).

God bless you as you obey and salvation shall truly come to our house today (Lk 19:9).

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

October 2009: Month of Celebration

Beloved brethren in Christ,

Greetings in His precious name and blessings be multiplied to you all in Jesus name.

As the count-down to the end of the year of bliss– 2009, begins, may we spend our time in these later days in sober reflection of the goodness of God. We should thank Him for hitherto, He has helped us (1Sam 7:12).

It is our month of celebration in October 2009, a time to gather the great harvest of the year of riches, souls, power, anointing, mercies, promotions, healings, breakthroughs etc.

When we think of the goodness of the Lord thus far, and all he has done, we must celebrate Him who began the good work in us and has promised to perfect it in Jesus name.

Remember the wilderness that the Lord has brought us through thus far (Is 43:2) and come into His presence with thanksgiving and His courts with praise and celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

September 2009: Month of Multiplication

Beloved,

Grace and peace of our Lord Jesus be unto you all in Jesus name.

We thank God for His power that came by the Holy Spirit upon us who have continued to tarry in the place of prayer, since last month and we give all the glory to God Almighty for the miracles, signs and wonders following all who believe. (Acts 1:8 & Mk 16:17-18).

By the working of His mighty power in us all who believe, God will multiply us this month exceedingly, abundantly above our imagination in Jesus name (Eph 3:20). Our multiplication shall not only be numerical, but also financial, spiritual and in all that pertaineth to life and godliness (2Pet 1:3).

Let us therefore, be ready to share with all our neighbors, friends and whosoever, the love of the Lord Jesus, who has called us with a holy calling and has promised to be with us withersoever we go. He will not leave us nor forsake us (Heb 13:5).

Therefore, let us prayerfully reach out to others and bear good fruits for the kingdom of God.

Occupy until He comes (Lk 19:13).

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

August 2009: Month of Power

Brethren,

Blessings to you from the God who does wonders, Jesus Christ our Lord.

When He was about to ascend into heaven, the Lord Jesus Christ assured the apostles of power transfer to them (Matt 28:18-20), to enable them continue the good work of the kingdom of heaven, He had come to the earth to jump start.

However, the early apostles were not to start work until they had received power from on high, by the in filling of the Holy Spirit. So they obeyed (Lk 24:49), by assembling together in Jerusalem (Acts 1:8) in prayer till the divine visitation, at Pentecost (Acts 2:2-4). Thus heralded the advent of the church of Jesus Christ with power.

This power to do good, is coming more abundantly to us this month, and just as God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power (Acts 10:38) and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, God will use each and everyone of us, who believe, to be faithful witnesses wherever we go in Jesus Name.

Let us remember, the following conditions for receiving this power of the Almighty God– we must be born-again, live holy, belong to a bible believing church where we assemble with other believers to pray, worship, serve etc.

On a personal level, pray for God’s power this month and He’ll make you a good witness by the Holy Spirit henceforth.

Shalom,

July 2009: Month of Miracles

Beloved,

Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Savior, the one whose name is Miracles (Wonderful)- Isa 9:16.

God never told us that miracles (God’s divine intervention in the affairs of men) were only for old bible days. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb 13:8).

Therefore the one who walked on the water, raised the dead, healed diseases, born of a virgin, died and rose again from the dead, if He is your God, He is still here, by His spirit to do the same miracles in our lives.

So believe God (Matt 19:26) for your miracles this month, in whatever area of life you need God’s intervention (miracle). I join faith with you in prayer for that miracle.

Ask until your joy be full (Jn 16:24).

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali

June 2009: Month of Revival

Beloved of the Lord,

May the peace and love and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to abound in you more and more in Jesus name.

Ever so often we need to evaluate/examine ourselves to ensure we are still in the faith (2 Cor 13:5). Thus the need for periodic revival and recharging of our spiritual battery.

Our battery must always be so fully charged that we are quick to respond to the challenges of the adversary, cash in on opportunities as the Holy Spirit exposes them to us and ensure the agape love of God in us is hot (Matt 24:12) etc.

Therefore a month of revival such as the Lord has opened to us this June 2009, the mid point of the year of bliss, is a good opportunity to gas up our spiritual tanks and recharge our spiritual batteries. This we do by genuine repentance for sins, prayer and fasting, regular reading of the word of God, more praise and worship and a return to regular fellowship with other believers in our churches (Sundays & weekdays) Heb 10:25.

By so doing, we will reach our goals temporal and eternal, through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Shalom,

Pastor Chris Ogali
